Italian Prime Minister (PM) Georgia Meloni expressed her gratitude and appreciation to President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi for his diplomatic and logistical cooperation in the delivery of Italian aid to Gaza Strip through Egyptian port of El Arish, according to Italian Cabinet official website.
Moreover, the website added that Italy and Egypt agreed to continue working in a spirit of enhanced cooperation to achieve sustainable peace in Gaza Strip.
It is worth mentioning that, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi held a meeting with Italian PM, on the sidelines of the 28th session of the United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP28).
