Meghan Markle launched a new initiative on her 40th birthday under the theme of "40 Minutes," media agencies reported on Friday.

The duchess called people for making use of 40 minutes of their lives to help women who are in need and lost their jobs due to the pandemic. Personally, she invited 40 figures, actors, athletes to take part in the initiative.

Meghan said on Archewell website: "I hope they each help someone advance a professional life on her own terms,” adding, “and I hope that they inspire countless others to give 40 minutes of their time as well.”

It is worthy to mention that the duchess got married to Prince Harry, the sixth on the line to the throne, the Duke of Sussex, in 2018, and the couple has now two children: Archie, and Lilibet. The couple exited the royal duties in 2020, and they moved to a new residence in California.

Since their exit, Prince Harry appeared on only two formal Royal occasions and both took place in 2021. The first was in April which is the funeral of his grandfather Prince Philip, and the second was last month during the unveiling of a remarkable statue that was dedicated to his mother, Princess Diana.
