Palestinian media said on Sunday evening that the “resistance” set up an ambush and barricades with nails on a street near the city of Salfit in the West Bank.
For its part, the Hebrew Channel 14 reported that Palestinian gunmen set up an ambush near Salfit and set up barricades with nails on Road No. 5 near the town of Al-Zawiya.
The Hebrew media added that the Palestinian gunmen ambushed settlers' vehicles, then sprayed two of them with bullets and wounded them, while 3 other vehicles were hit with nails.
The Hebrew Channel confirmed that the attackers of the operation withdrew from the site, stressing in the context that the Salfit operation was “dangerous.”
Bloggers and activists reported that Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the town of Al-Zawiya near Salfit.
The Israeli army announced that gunmen opened fire on a settlers' car tonight at the Ariel settlement in the northern West Bank.
It confirmed that there were no casualties, while the vehicle sustained material damage.
