Media Faculty of Al-Nahda Univ. Scoops 3 Awards from Shorouk Academy

The Media and Public Relations faculty at Al-Nahda University, won three awards from the Shorouk Academy Festival for Graduation Projects.

The Media Faculty won the 1st rank at universities and institutes level in T.V program competition for the "Tunis Village" program; the faculty’s students won the 1st rank in the radio advertisements for "Make It Safe" announcement, they also won the 3rd rank in the documentary competition for the "Great Testimony" movie.

"Tunis Village" program portrayed one of the villages of Fayoum, which is famous for handicrafts, including ceramics, as it reflects the nature beauty in the village and its picturesque scenery that makes it a wonderful tourist attraction; it was displayed by the faculty’s students- Rana Sayed Abdel Majid, Mohammed Tawfiq and Islam Saeed, and was supervised by Dr. Maha Fathi and the assistant teacher Engy Bahgat.

Meanwhile, the radio advertising "Make It Safe" addressed the promotion of Coptic tourism in Egypt by presenting the Holy Family trip in Egypt; it was done by Mirna Adel, Fatima Jamal, and Al-Zahraa Muhammad, the supervision by Dr. Hanadi Gharib and assistant teacher Iman Abdel Qader.

On other hand, the documentary film "Great Certificate" discusses the technical education issue, intermediate qualifications and simple craftsmanship, and the changing necessity of society’s view towards those with technical and intermediate qualifications.

In addition, it highlighted the importance in society. The project carried out by Monica Hamdy, Ali Hisham, Salvana Magdy, Marina Amer, Miri Magdy, supervised by Dr. Maha Fathy and Assistant Professor Hamdy Rabei.

Also, Al-Nahda University president Dr. Hossam Al-Mallahi, confirmed that these graduates will be honored during the graduation projects festival which organized by the college on March 3.

Noteworthy, the Media and Public Relations college organizes an annual festival for graduation projects at the university theater in the presence of a group of media professionals, jury specialists and honor guests.
