The Muslim Council of Elders, led by Dr. Ahmed Al-Tayeb, the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar, extended heartfelt congratulations to the Arab and Islamic nations on the occasion of Mid-Sha‘ban Night, praying to Allah for goodness, blessings, and prosperity in the year ahead.
In a statement, the Council emphasized that this sacred night serves as a time for self-reflection, the revival of mercy and tolerance, and the reinforcement of ethical values that promote human dignity and peaceful coexistence, especially amidst the world’s growing challenges.
The Council further called on Muslims to embrace the spirit of Mid-Sha‘ban by fostering a culture of love, rejecting hatred and extremism, and promoting human brotherhood. It urged turning these values into tangible actions that contribute to community service and the establishment of peace.
