The Muslim Council of Elders extended warm congratulations to the Arab and Islamic nations on the advent of the Hijri New Year, marking 1447 years since the noble Prophetic migration.
Chaired by His Eminence Prof. Dr. Ahmed Al-Tayeb, the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar, the Council commemorated the occasion by highlighting the enduring values embodied in the Hijrah — including patience, sacrifice, coexistence, and trust in God.
In a statement, the Council emphasized the importance of drawing inspiration from these values to promote peace, understanding, and solidarity among peoples and cultures.
