The Muslim Council of Elders, chaired by His Eminence Dr. Ahmed Al-Tayeb, Grand Imam of Al-Azhar, extended congratulations to Muslims worldwide on the occasion of Eid Al-Adha, calling for greater solidarity, dialogue, and peaceful coexistence among peoples.
In a statement issued ahead of the Islamic holiday, the council conveyed its “sincere congratulations and best wishes to the Arab and Islamic nations and to Muslims around the world,” praying that the occasion returns “with goodness, prosperity, and blessings” for all humanity.
The council also renewed its call for promoting the values of mercy, generosity, and human solidarity, stressing the importance of building bridges of mutual understanding and strengthening a culture of dialogue and coexistence.
The statement said such efforts are essential to spreading peace, safeguarding human dignity, and building “a more secure and stable future.”
