The Muslim Council of Elders, chaired by Ahmed Al-Tayeb, strongly condemned the recent Israeli attacks on Lebanon, describing them as dangerous escalations that threaten regional security and stability.
In a statement, the council affirmed its categorical rejection of the strikes carried out by Israel and warned of the serious consequences such actions could have on peace in the region. It called on the international community to fulfill its legal and moral responsibilities and take immediate action to halt the violence and protect civilians.
The council also expressed full solidarity with Lebanon’s government and people, stressing the importance of dialogue and peaceful solutions to ensure long-term security and stability across the Middle East.
