Mauritanian President Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani reaffirmed his country’s condemnation of the "blatant Iranian attacks" on United Arab Emirates territory and several sisterly nations during a phone call with UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
He expressed Mauritania's full solidarity with the UAE in all measures taken to protect its security and stability.
According to the Emirates News Agency (WAM) on Sunday, both leaders emphasized the urgent need for an immediate cessation of military actions and a return to the diplomatic track to avoid further escalation and to preserve regional security and stability.
