In her speech, the Minister of International Cooperation spoke about the importance of promoting innovative financing tools as it is absolutely necessary to ensure that the commitments of the COP26 climate summit are transformed into actions at the next COP27 summit, which will be hosted by Sharm El-Sheikh this year.
The Egyptian minister noted the need to provide support for emerging countries to mitigate the consequences of climate change.
