Mary Wilson, Co-Founder of the Supremes, Dies at 76

Legendary American singer Mary, Wilson, the co-founder of the Supremes, passed away at the age of 76, her publicist Jay Schwartz announced on Tuesday.

She died suddenly at her home in Las Vegas yesterday, in addition, the cause of death is still not revealed.

Schwartz highlighted that the funeral services will be held privately by applying all health and safety guidelines.

However, the public memorial will be scheduled as a tribute for the departed star later.

Berry Gordy the founder of Motown company, which Wilson used to be the label's star, paid a tribute to the singer.

He stated, "I was extremely shocked and saddened to hear of the passing of a major member of the Motown family, Mary Wilson of the Supremes."

"She was quite a star in her own right and over the years continued to work hard to boost the legacy of the Supremes. Mary Wilson was extremely special to me. She was a trailblazer, a pa and will be deeply missed."

Two days before her death, the artist shared a new video announcing working on a new release.
