Marsa Alam International Airport received on Saturday a flight of the Ukraine International Airlines, carrying 128 passengers.
This is the first flight from Kyiv to Marsa Alam, crowning the joint efforts between the Ministries of Tourism and Civil Aviation to boost the tourist movement here.
The airport's officials finalized the passengers' arrival procedures along with implementing the anti-coronavirus measures.
It is worth noting that Ukraine International Airlines resumed its flights to Cairo last week.
On Friday, a flight of Edelweiss Air of Switzerland land at Sharm El-Sheikh International Airport, carrying 151 passengers.
It is the first flight for the Swiss airlines to Sharm El-Sheikh since 2016. It is scheduled to operate one flight a week to the Red Sea resort city.
It is worth mentioning that about 250,000 tourists from 15 countries visited Egypt without recording any coronavirus cases among them.
