On Friday, Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg announced that he underwent surgery after tearing his ACL in a MMA training.
Zuckerberg posted several photos of himself from his hospital bed on Friday, with one of his knees in a brace after the surgery to fix his torn ACL.
He posted: "Grateful for the doctors and team taking care of me," adding: "I was training for a competitive MMA fight early next year, but now that's delayed a bit. Still looking forward to doing it after I recover."
Last August, X and Tesla chairman Elon Musk revealed that his fight against Zuckerberg will take place at Rome's Colosseum.
Musk tweeted: 'Gladiator' and followed the word with two sword emojis.
He said in another tweet: "The fight will be managed by my and Zuck’s foundations (not UFC)."
Previously, Las Vegas was originally pitched as the potential location for the fight between Facebook billionaire Zuckerberg and X chief Musk.
According to TMZ, Zuckerberg was approached by the Italian Minister of Culture to coordinate with him to make the epic battleground as the place for the fight.
