The Egyptian Meteorological Authority has forecast cool weather in the early morning hours across much of the country, gradually turning moderate to warm during the daytime in most regions, before temperatures drop again at night, bringing cold conditions to many parts of Egypt.
Meteorologists also warned of early morning fog forming between 4:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. across several areas.
The water mist is expected to affect northern regions, Cairo and the Greater Cairo area, the Canal cities, central Sinai, and northern Upper Egypt, which may reduce visibility during the early hours of the day.
Rainfall is also anticipated in parts of the country. Moderate showers, which could occasionally become heavy and accompanied by thunder, are expected intermittently along sections of the northern coasts and the northern Nile Delta.
Meanwhile, light rain may fall over southern parts of the Nile Delta, the Canal cities, and the Gulf of Aqaba. There is also a 30 percent chance that these light showers could extend at times to Greater Cairo and northern Upper Egypt.
Winds are expected to be active across several regions, particularly along the northern coasts, South Sinai, and southern parts of the country.
Wind speeds are forecast to range between 30 and 40 kilometers per hour at intervals.
Maritime conditions are expected to be rough.
Navigation may be disrupted along parts of the Mediterranean coast, where wind speeds could reach between 50 and 70 kilometers per hour and wave heights may range from 2.5 to 4 meters.
Similar conditions are forecast in the Red Sea, the Gulf of Suez, and the Gulf of Aqaba. Winds in these areas are expected to reach speeds of 40 to 60 kilometers per hour, with waves rising between 2 and 3.5 meters, creating challenging conditions for maritime activity.
The predicted temperatures for the following cities are 21°C in Cairo, 19°C in Alexandria, 18°C in Marsa Matruh, 24°C in Sohag, 26°C in Qena, and 28°C in Aswan.
