Manpower Minister Hassan Shehata said that Sunday, January 8, would be a day off for the private sector workers on the occasion of Christmas, instead of Saturday, January 7.
In a statement, Shehata added that employers can ask employees to work on that day at double the rate.
Moreover, the Minister extended his greetings to the Christians on this occasion.
