Italy's Rock Group Maneskin Wins Eurovision Song Contest

Italian Rock group Maneskin achieved a huge victory after winning Eurovision Song Contest for the 2021 version on Saturday.

The band managed to gain the majority of audience votes beating 26 countries that competed for the prize. They won the contest with their song "Zitti e buoni."

The show was attended by a limited audience in Rotterdam city.

It's the third time for an Italian band to win Eurovision. The last time an Italian band crowned was 31 years ago.

Victoria de Angelis, Mansekin member, said that this prize is a victory for Italy especially after passing through hard times of pandemic.
