Lebanon Prosecutor, Judge Ghada Aoun, issued an arrest warrant for Nancy Ajram husband Fadi al-Hachem in order to take legal measures after the latter shot dead a Syrian national, named Mohamed Hassan Moussa, who stormed the Lebanese singer's villa at dawn in New Sheileh region for theft.

Ajram sustained a minor injury in her right leg, but the other family members were safe.
At once, security forces rushed to the scene and opened investigations into the incident.

It is noteworthy that Ajram, born on May 16, 1983, is a multi-platinum Lebanese singer and a Goodwill Ambassador for UNICEF.
In 1995, at the age of twelve, she participated in the Lebanese talent contest show, “Noujoum Al-Moustakbal” (Stars of the Future).
She won a gold medal in the “Tarab” category after singing a song by Umm Kulthum.
Ajram studied music with renowned Lebanese musicians and although she was less than 18, the syndicate of professional artists in Lebanon accepted her as a member. Her first singles were titled “Hobbak Allam Albi el Gheere” by Abdo Mounzer, and “Oulha Kelma Ala Shani”.
At the age of 15, Ajram released her first album, “Mihtagalak” (I Need You) in 1998, which was followed by Sheel Oyoonak Anni (“Stop Staring”) in 2000, which achieved more success.
She had sold over 2 million records by 2007, ranking third best selling female artist in Lebanese history.
The Lebanese recording artist has released eleven studio albums to date and appeared in numerous music videos and commercials.
She performed at most of the important Arabic festivals and won multiple awards, most importantly the 2008 World Music Award of best-selling Middle Eastern artist, and the WMA award, which she won three times.
Considered by many as an Arabic music icon of the decade, Ajram was described on Oprah Winfrey show as one of the most influential personalities of the Middle East.
