“Mama Hamel” Film Sequel in Development

The comedy film “Mama Hamel” (Mom is Pregnant) is getting a sequel.

The original film starred Laila Elwy, Bayoumi Fouad, Hamdy El-Merghany, Mohamed Salam, Nancy Salah, Mohamed Tharwat, Hoda Eletreby, Samy Maghawry, and others.

It was written by Loua Al Sayed and directed by Mahmoud Karim.

The plot revolved around a rich family that faces many comical situations following the lady of the house (Elwy), who is already a mother to two grown men, (Merghany and Salam), becomes pregnant once again.

The film marked Elwy’s come back to the big screen after four years of absence since the 2016 film “Al Ma’ wal Khodra wal Wajh al Hassan” (Brooks, Meadows and Lovely Faces).
