Jordanian actress Mais Hamdan joined on Sunday the growing list of the celebrities who tested positive for Coronavirus after attending the 4th Edition of El Gouna Film Festival (GFF), which ran from Oct. 23 – Oct 31, in El Gouna resort town, Red Sea Governorate.
GFF was the first artistic event to be held after the pandemic. The festival management was keen to adhere to Coronavirus measures, however, it was not sufficient enough as many celebrities who attended the festival got infected such as Basma, Zainab Ghareeb, Wegz, and Reem El Adl.
In a statement, Hamdan revealed that she contracted the Coronavirus after she returned from the festival. She added that she had tested for the virus, which came positive.
The actress stated that she is currently in self-quarantine and already starting to recover.
Salma Abu Deif
Egyptian actress, Salma Abu Deif is reportedly infected with Coronavirus, after returning from GFF and is currently in self-quarantine, Et bil Arabi reported.
Abu Deif is waiting for the end of the quarantine period to re-test, to make sure that she is completely cured.
