Mahmoud Abbas Appreciates Egypt's Stances on Palestine-Israeli Conflict

On Tuesday, Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas extended his deep appreciation to Egypt for providing valuable assistance to his nation and the excellent facilities placed at their disposal.

"Egypt is always making a great effort to reach a peaceful solution for Palestine to prevent bloodshed and preserve the rights of Palestinians," Abbas said.

Also in this regard, he praised Egypt's stances, and the efforts made to accomplish peace and establish an independent Palestinian state in accordance with international legitimacy.

The Palestinian President also appreciated the historic role played by Egypt in supporting the Palestinian cause, as well as Egyptian sacrifices to reserve the rights of the Palestinian people.

Abbas's remarks came during his meeting with a number of maven Egyptian journalists, and renowned TV reporters in his headquarters in Cairo.

During this meeting, he described Jo Biden administration's stances as "a good step", saying that Biden had earlier told the media that his country supports a two-state solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

The purpose of this meeting was to inform the media channels as well as the Arab audiences about the latest developments regarding the Palestinian issue.
