According to German Geological Sciences Center (GFZ), a 6.2-magnitude earthquake struck Halmahera Island in Indonesia on Wednesday.
The German Center added that the earthquake was at a depth of 120 km, at 1.73 degrees north latitude and 127.21 degrees east longitude.
