“Magic of Dreams” to Stage at Balloon Theater

Balloon Theater, affiliated to the house of folklore and performing arts, headed by artist Adel Abdou, will continue to display the musical play "Magic of Dreams" daily at 9 pm, within the framework of the glorious October victories' anniversary celebrations.

Adel Abdo said that the play combines joy and meditation; it belongs to the contemporary theater, which depends on the image and embodies a deep popular epic; also, it deals with the achievements of the past in a simple and professional way.

Dr. Hossam Atta, director, and author of the play, explains that the play celebrates the people of Egypt and shows their ability to realize miracles. It also discusses the events happened during the past thirty years and mixes it with the dreams of a bright future.

It is worthy to note that the play starring included:  Inas Mekki, Magdy Fekry, Nefin Refaat, Abdel Aty Saleh, Reda Ramzy, Mohamed Antar, Omnia Fathy, Nourhan El Sherif, Atef Fathi, Nada Ghoneim, Mohamed Ashour, Assem Zakaria, Seif El Din Gamal, Yasser Yani. "Magic of Dreams" is directed by Dr. Hossam Atta, and composed by Ahmed Mohy.

Earlier this month, the Culture Ministry dismissed claims, circulated on social media, that the National Circus and Balloon Theater would be relocated from Agouza district to Imbaba airport area.

In an official statement, the Ministry said the allegations are baseless, and it called on citizens to seek accuracy before spreading fake information.
