Minister of Immigration and Expatriates Nabila Makram announced that Dr. Hani Azer will be an honorable chairperson of “Egypt Can” institution forever and Dr. Magdi Yacoub to be chairperson of “Egypt Can” Conferences forever.
Makram added that an “Egypt Can Institution” press conference will be held on April 7 as one of the Egypt Can Conferences’ outcomes.
The minister stressed that the institution’s goal is to be a liaison office between Egyptian scholars and experts living abroad and their homeland.
“Their data will be stored in order to be utilized later,” Makram noted.
“The institution was established in cooperation with the ministry of social solidarity and concerned ministries.”
It is noteworthy that "Egypt Can Institution" is made up of a council of experts headed by the migration minister and it embraces scholars living abroad.
The members of the experts’ council are: Hani Al-Nazer, Ahmed Fayeq, Maha Salem, Ismail Abdel Ghaffar, Sherif Sedki, Sherin Abbas Helmy and Moustafa Zamzam.
