Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, the Prime Minister, expressed his happiness at the visit of his Romanian counterpart to Egypt, which is the first visit of a Romanian Prime Minister in 20 years.
He explained that the volume of trade exchange between the two countries amounted to more than $one billion last year, noting that Egypt requested an increase in grain imports from Romania.
Madbouly held bilateral talks with Prime Minister of the Republic of Romania, who arrived in a two-day official visit to Egypt, heading a high-level delegation that includes a number of ministers and government officials , to discuss a number of files in various economic fields, and ways to enhance joint bilateral cooperation.
