Madbouly Praises Remarkable Development in Egypt - Serbia Relations

Prime Minister Dr Mustafa Madbouly received on Sunday  Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic and his accompanying delegation.

Madbouly stressed  appreciation for the historical relations between Egypt and Serbia for nearly 113 years, pointing out to the two countries' pivotal role in establishing and leading the Non-Aligned Movement.

Madbouly stressed the importance of maintaining the current momentum to strengthen bilateral relations, and working to strengthen various aspects of bilateral relations, especially economic, commercial, cultural and tourism relations.

On the other hand, the Prime Minister reviewed the capabilities available to increase mutual investments between the two countries, especially through the opportunities offered by Egypt to Serbian companies.

On his part, the Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic praised the positive developments in the Egyptian-Serbian relations, pointing out that he noticed President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi's interest in strengthening relations with his country in various fields.

He stressed that he will work during the coming period, in cooperation with his colleagues in Parliament, to push forward the prospects of cooperation with Egypt.
