Madbouly Meets Central African Counerpart

Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly met with the Prime Minister of the Central African Republic Felix Moloua. He affirmed Egypt's support for the political process in the Central African Republic. The meeting likely involved discussions regarding political developments and bilateral relations between Egypt and the Central African Republic.

This came during Madbouly's participation in the annual meetings of the African Development Bank.

Madbouly affirmed Egypt's complete support for the political process in the Central African Republic, in accordance with the peace agreement and peace plan of the International Conference on the Great Lakes Region, and reviewed Egypt's efforts in supporting United Nations peacekeeping forces in the country.

Madbouly also expressed his welcome for increasing cooperation with the Central African Republic in the health sector, by benefiting from President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi's initiative to treat one million Africans infected with the Hepatitis C virus, as well as supplying Egyptian medicine to the Central African Republic, in addition to supporting and enhancing capacity-building efforts in the country.

The Prime Minister of the Central African Republic expressed his country's appreciation for its cooperation with Egypt in various fields, such as agriculture, education, and medicine, and looked forward to intensifying cooperation in the future.

He also confirmed his country's interest in benefiting from Egypt's expertise in infrastructure, in light of what he had seen in Egypt's developmental and urban boom.
