Madbouly Hails GEM's Opening as 'Unique' & 'Extraordinary' Event

​Prime Minister (PM) Dr. Mostafa Madbouly stated that the inauguration ceremony of Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM) is a 'unique' and 'exceptional' event.

​Speaking at a press conference before the GEM opening, PM added, "This dream was in our minds, and we dreamt of realizing this project and witnessing this great day... This global edifice is a gift from Egypt to the entire world, a nation whose history dates back more than 7,000 years."

​It is worth mentioning that, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi is set to inaugurate the Grand Egyptian Museum this evening (Saturday), an event that represents an extraordinary moment in the history of human culture and civilization.

It is scheduled that (79) official delegations will participate in the opening ceremony, including (39) delegations headed by Kings, Princes, Heads of State, and Governments, reflecting the international community's profound interest in the ancient Egyptian civilization and the unique cultural and humanitarian role played by Egypt.
