Prime Minister (PM) PM Mostafa Madbouly held a phone call this evening with Sudan’s newly appointed Prime Minister (PM), Kamal Al-Tayeb Idris.
During the phone call, Madbouly congratulated Idris on assuming his new position as head of the Sudanese government, wishing him success in carrying out his responsibilities.
PM expressed his hope for continued efforts to strengthen bilateral relations between Cairo and Khartoum across various sectors, in a way that enhances coordination between the two brotherly nations on issues of mutual concern.
He reaffirmed the deep-rooted historical ties between the leadership and peoples of both countries, and reiterated Egypt’s unwavering support for Sudan’s security and stability.
For his part, Sudanese PM Kamal Al-Tayeb Idris voiced his keenness to deepen the shared bilateral relationship between Egypt and Sudan in a manner that fulfills the aspirations of both peoples.
