Madbouli Follows up Progress Taking Place in Egypt's Digital City

Egypt's Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli held a meeting with Minister of Communications and Information Technology Amr Talaat to discuss the progress made in executing a number of smart projects.

During the meeting, the Prime Minister followed up on progress taking place in Egypt's digital city.

In this regard, Talaat said the project includes establishing a virtual educational city to provide digital training programs authorized by the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology.

The minister explained that those virtual training programs focus on artificial intelligence, cyber security, electronics design, robotics, the Internet of Things, the programming of applications and platforms, financial inclusion, digital shopping, and infrastructure.

In the same connection, he noted the digital city project also aims to refine professional skills in the areas of self-employment, entrepreneurship, teamwork, project management, digital innovation, and the art of negotiation, as well as learning foreign languages.

The ICT minister also briefed the Prime Minister on the latest developments of applying the State's property management system to some ministries and governorates, along with some companies affiliated with the Ministry of Public Business Sector.
