French President Emmanuel Macron will travel to Qatar on Wednesday to attend the World Cup semi-final match between France and Morocco, according to Sports Minister Amelie Odea Castera.
Last month, Macron said that he would wait for the semi-finals to go to the World Cup if the team reached that stage.
“Congratulations to the Blues! The whole country supports you: we will go to the end together," Macron tweeted on Saturday
