Macron to Attend AI Summit in India

French President Emmanuel Macron is set to attend the Impact of Artificial Intelligence in India Summit this week, as France and India deepen strategic and technological cooperation.

According to reports, Macron will join heads of state, policymakers and global artificial intelligence leaders at the summit, which begins Monday in New Delhi. The event is expected to focus on AI innovation, digital transformation and the future of global technology governance.

India’s Ministry of External Affairs confirmed that Macron is among the high-level international participants scheduled to attend the gathering.

As part of his official agenda, Macron is also expected to hold talks with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The meeting is likely to address bilateral cooperation in artificial intelligence, defense, trade and emerging technologies.

The summit comes amid accelerating global competition in artificial intelligence development, as major economies strengthen partnerships to secure leadership in AI research, regulation and digital infrastructure.
