French President Emmanuel Macron will receive on Tuesday, Italian Prime Minister (PM) Georgia Meloni, at the Elysee Palace.
In a statment, the Elysee said that Macron and Meloni will discuss bilateral relations and the implementation of the "Quirenal Treaty" signed in 2021 aimed at strengthening relations between both countries.
Moreover, they will discuss European issues, and ongoing preparations for the European Council, which will be held in Brussels on Thursday 29 and Friday 30 June.
The talks between the French President and the Italian PM will also deal with NATO summit, which will be held in Vilnius, Lithuania, on Tuesday and Wednesday, July 11 and 12.
Moreover, the Elysee also confirmed that their talks will be an opportunity to reaffirm their joint support for Ukraine on all humanitarian, military and economic levels.
