French President Emmanuel Macron praised his country’s relationship with the Kingdom of Morocco through a post on the platform "X", highlighting that his recent visit to Rabat led to "tangible results."
Macron titled his post: "French-Moroccan Cooperation is Advancing Rapidly," and added: "His Majesty King Mohammed VI yesterday launched the implementation of the new high-speed rail line between Kenitra and Marrakech. This is a tangible result of the partnerships we established during my official visit to Morocco last October."
The French president concluded his post by stating: "Long live the friendship between Morocco and France."
It is worth mentioning that Macron visited Morocco last October at the head of a large government delegation, during which the two sides signed 22 cooperation agreements in various fields.
During his speech before the Moroccan Parliament, Macron also recognized Morocco’s sovereignty over the Western Sahara within the framework of the autonomy plan proposed by Morocco in 2007.
