French President Emmanuel Macron praised Egypt’s efforts in receiving and treating injured and wounded Palestinians.
Macron also highlighted Egypt’s vital role on both the political and humanitarian fronts, whether through admitting patients and wounded individuals or by facilitating the delivery of urgent humanitarian aid and relief supplies needed by the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.
Egypt has been actively working since the beginning of the crisis to admit injured and special medical cases into Egyptian hospitals.
After the declaration of the ceasefire in January until March 17, Egypt had received more than 1,672 injured and wounded Palestinians for treatment in its medical facilities.
