French President Emmanuel Macron arrived in Germany today, Sunday, for an official three-day visit, followed by a bilateral government meeting.
This visit comes as the two largest powers in the European Union seek to demonstrate unity ahead of next month's European Parliament elections.
Macron's visit, which includes the capital Berlin, the eastern city of Dresden, and the western city of Münster, is the first official visit by a French president to Germany in 24 years.
