Macron Expresses Keenness to Enhance Co-op with Iraq

On Saturday, Iraqi Prime Minister (PM) Mustafa al-Kadhimi spoke by phone with French President Emmanuel Macron.

During the phone call, Macron stressed his country's support for Iraq and its keenness to boost bilateral cooperation between both countries, especially in the economic field.

They also discussed a number of key regional and international issues of common interest and ways to establish stability in the region.

On his part, al-Kadhimi said that Baghdad is seeking more balanced and cooperative ties with all international partners.
