Spanish reports on Tuesday that claimed that Barcelona's current striker Luis Suarez is in a developed talks with Juventus as he comes closer to join the Serie A champions.
According to Marca, Suarez has become so close to begin a new career in Italy, as he could join Cristiano Ronaldo.
"With Gonzalo Higuain on the move, Juventus are in the market for a striker and are thought to be closing in on Luis Suarez," Marca reported.
The Uruguayan is now looking for a new club, after being informed by new coach Ronald Koeman that he will be out of his plans for the upcoming season.
The Spanish newspaper also added that both side have agreed on personal terms during a second meeting between Juventus and the player's representatives.
"According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, personal terms have been agreed between Suarez and Juventus in a second meeting between the club and the player's representatives," Marca noted.
The Uruguayan has already been contacted with the Italian club's vice president, Pavel Nedved prior to the second meeting.
"The player's contract is thought to be in the range of ten million euros per year after tax which is the same wage Suarez is currently earning at Barcelona. Juventus would have to pay a further five million euros to secure the Uruguayan, due to Italian taxation," Marca noted.
