Lufthansa Group, the German airline giant, and LOT Polish Airlines have announced the extension of their suspension of flights to Israel due to the ongoing conflict in the region.
In updates sent to passengers, Lufthansa confirmed it would extend its suspension of flights from October 31 to November 10.
This includes not only Lufthansa’s main flights but also those operated by its subsidiary airlines, including Swiss, Austrian, Brussels Airlines, and Eurowings.
This move follows the airline’s initial decision in early October to halt flights to Tel Aviv until the end of the month. In addition, flights to Beirut, Lebanon, were also canceled until November 30.
Similarly, LOT Polish Airlines has extended its suspension of flights to Tel Aviv until November 12.
The airline had initially halted operations to Israel in early October, aligning with the growing safety concerns in the region as the conflict intensified.
