British-American actress Lucy Boynton is set to play Marie Antoinette in a new biopic titled "Chevalier de Saint-Georges".
Searchlight landed the original movie last summer, which arrives from screenwriter Stefani Robinsonwith and director Stephen Williams.
The movie features Kelvin Harrison Jr. in the title role.

The movie revolves around, de Saint-Georges, the illegitimate son of an African slave and a French plantation owner.
He was born in 1745 in the French Caribbean and had risen to improbable heights in French society, as a violinist, composer, and champion fencer.
It will also depict his downfall as a result of an ill-fated love affair with a French noblewoman and his fallout with Marie Antoinette and her court.
The project will be produced by Element Pictures, Robinson, and Dianne McGunigle and overseen by SVP Production DanTram Nguyen, Director of Production Zahra Phillips, and creative exec Cornelia Burleigh.
Australian actress Samara Weaving has also recently joined the cast.

Boynton, best known for her role opposite Rami Malek in "Bohemian Rhapsody", recently wrapped filming on "The Ipcress File".
She is also slated to star in Hugh Laurie’s adaptation of Agatha Christie’s "Why Didn’t They Ask Evans?", opposite Will Poulter.
Boynton also will star and exec produce the biopic "Faithfull", depicting iconic rock singer Marianne Faithfull's rise to fame during the British Invasion.
