“Lua Lua” Cast to Begin Filming on August 20

The cast of TV series “Lua Lua” is set to begin filming on Thursday, August 20, after it was postponed for a week to hash its final details.

The series stars Mai Omar, Ahmed Zaher, Naglaa Badr, Nermin El Feki, Mohamed El Sharnouby, Edward, Heidy Karam, Salwa Othman, Emad Ziada, Hamdy Heikal, and others.

TV series “Lua Lua” is written by Zainab Aziz, directed by Mohamed Abdel Salam, and produced by Synergy Company.

It is scheduled to be screened at the beginning of the winter.

The director completed inspecting the shooting locations and preparations for the first decorations in which the first scenes will be shot.

Omar finished her rehearsals for singing and dancing, especially as she appears in the events as a singer who dreams of stardom amidst many challenges.

The 32-year-old actress confirmed in an interview with TV and radio presenter Injy Ali on her program “Asrar El Nogoum” broadcast on “Nogoum FM” radio station, that her role in the series is a completely different role from what she had previously presented.

She explained that the series will be Abdel Salam’s directorial debut, and will also be Aziz’s first time to write a TV series, as she worked on more than one cinematic production.

The series marks Omar's first lead role in a TV series, as well as the comeback to Ahmed Zaher's oldest daughter, Malak, to acting.

Recently, Malak's sister, Laila, had also resumed acting this year in Omar’s latest artistic work is TV series “El Fetewa”, which achieved great success during its premiere.

Malak and Laila had stepped away from acting to focus on their education. They have caught the attention since began acting in the 2008 movie "Captain Hema" starring Tamer Hosny.

It is worth mentioning that Omar, born on February 7, 1988, graduated from the American University in Cairo (AUC), Mass Communication department.

She started her career as a producer in the field of adverting, then got into acting in 2013 with her role as “walaa” in TV Series “Hekayet Hayah”.

In 2010, Omar, and writer and director by Mohamed Sami tied the knot, after a love story, and have two daughters, Taya and Celine.

She is known for her roles in 2019 TV series “Weld El Ghalaba”, in 2017 TV series “rayah el madam”, in 2017 TV series “Afaret Adly Allam”, in 2017 film “Tsbah ala kher”, in 2017 TV series “Al Ostora”, in 2015 TV series “Halet Eshq”, in 2014 TV series “Kalam Aala Wara”, and in 2013 TV series “Hekayet Hayat”.

In 2010, Omar and Sami had tied the knot after a love story. They are one of Egypt’s and the Arab world’s most favorite celebrity couples.

The pair have two daughters, Taya and Celine, whom they are serious about protecting their privacy.

Last April, Sami shared a rare picture of his two daughters, Taya and Celine.

In 2019, Omar participated in Ramadan with Ahmed El Sakka’s TV series “Weld El Ghalaba”, whose killer performance in the series had stunned everyone.
