Spanish football team Real Madrid will host Liverpool in the UEFA Champions League quarter-final first leg on Tuesday at 9:00 pm.

Moreover, Liverpool will be looking to avenge their 3-1 loss in the 2017-18 UEFA Champions League final when they take on Real Madrid tonight.

According to English media, the maven German Coach Jurgen Klopp has the option of restoring Roberto Firmino to his starting lineup as Liverpool head to Real Madrid, but that may not need to come at the expense of Diogo Jota.

Furthermore, Alisson remains on vigil between the sticks with Fabinho joined by fellow midfielder and captain Jordan Henderson at centre-back.

Meanwhile, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Andy Robertson remain on their respective flanks – in what could potentially be a 3-4-3 formation with Gini Wijnaldum acting as a centre-half.

Liverpool possible starting lineup:

Alisson, Alexander-Arnold, Phillips, Kabak, Robertson, Fabinho, Thiago, Wijnaldum, Mane, Salah, Jota.

On the other hand, Coach Zinedine Zidane has many options to choose from but it seems that he could go with a 3-5-2 lineup with Varane, Nacho and Mendy as the center-backs while Vazquez and Marcelo would play on the flanks as full-backs, where they can focus on offense.

In the same context, the talented winger Asensio could likely be the chosen one to play alongside French forward Benzema. Asensio has been comfortable as a secondary striker through the center and is better suited for that spot than Vinicius and Rodrygo, who could come off the bench if needed.
