Liverpool is flying to Italy to take on Atalanta with forward trio Sadio Mane, Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino set to have a rest allowing Diogo Jota a match start, according to The Mirror.

Reds boss Jurgen Klopp said: "A lot of players will be on the plane hopefully, and so decisions will be made late, late, late.", talking about his team's line-up for the match.

Liverpool made the journey to Bergamo with Naby Keita and Joel Matip among the travelers after both returned to full training Sunday.

Kostas Tsimikas also boarded the flight.

Klopp revealed Thiago Alcantara has yet to rejoin his teammates in training following the injury he sustained last month.

“Naby and Joel trained yesterday with the team, full, Thiago didn’t. So, that’s the situation,” the boss, who reported no new injuries from the 2-1 win over West Ham United, told Liverpoolfc.com.

“I have really no idea what I do with this information at the moment because yes, they trained, that’s good, it’s better than if they don’t train. But we have to see what we do with it," he added.

The two teams are in Group D, along with FC Midtjylland of Denmark and Ajax of Amsterdam, where the Reds top the table with 6 points, followed by Atalanta in second place (4 points), then Ajax in third place (one point), while Midtjylland is bottom of the table with no points.

A few hours before the two teams' clash that is set to kick-off at 22:00 CLT, in the third round of the group stage of the Champions League, here is the predicted line-up.

Liverpool: Alisson; Alexander-Arnold, Matip, Gomez, Robertson; Shaqiri, Henderson, Milner; Jota, Minamino, Origi.
