The international girl group Little Mix’s talent show “Little Mix: The Search” Saturday episode was delayed due to the British Prime Minister’s Boris Johnson COVID-19 lockdown speech.

The show’s official Twitter account @littlemixthesearch announced last Saturday through an official statement only a few hours before the show was set to air on BBC One that the show was delayed for a BBC News Special.

It was also announced that the show will become a big final event this upcoming weekend with the semi-final airing at 7 pm on Friday November 6th and the final airing at 6:05 pm on Saturday November 7th.

It is noteworthy that the band member Jade Thirlwall missed the show’s episodes last week and her group’s first live performance since the COVID-19 pandemic seeing as she had to self-isolate at home.

Still neither the show’s producers nor Thirlwall herself have confirmed the reason behind her self-isolation whether she came in contact with someone who tested positive for COVID-19 or if she herself has tested positive.
