British girl band Little Mix announced Wednesday on social media the release date for their first single since the departure of their former bandmate, Jesy Nelson.

The pop trio, Perrie Edwards, Jade Thirlwall, and Leigh-Anne Pinnock, discussed the release of their eagerly-awaited track, "Confetti", featuring American rapper Saweetie, in a version that does not appear on their album.

"The news you've all been waiting for... our brand new single Confetti featuring @saweetie is out 30/04." they wrote on Instagram.

The single marks the band's first song since Nelson announced she was leaving the group last December.

She revealed that she was leaving Little Mix after nine years to focus on her mental health and won’t be returning.
