Media Reports revealed on Wednesday that the Uefa's officials have settled on holding the remaining games of the Champions League in Portugal's capital Lisbon.

The football's governing body in Europe  are looking forward to resuming the Champions League and Europa League competitions to compensate the loses, which occurred because of coronavirus pandemic.

On April 1, Uefa suspended all Champions League (CL) and Europa League matches until “further notice” because of coronavirus pandemic.

According to "AS" newspaper, the football's governing body in Europe decided to choose Lisbon as there are no Portuguese clubs participating in both competitions.

The Champions league could be resumed on August 8, and the final leg could be played on August 23.

It is worth mentioning that the executive committee of the Uefa is set to hold a meeting on June 17 to take the final decision regarding resuming the European competition or not.
