CAIRO, Feb .19. (SEE) – ''LinkedIn'' launched this week a live video that giving people and organizations the ability to broadcast real-time video to select groups, or to the LinkedIn world at large  for its over 55 million members in the country to see the day's top professional news stories and conversations happening around them  all in one place. 

Initial live content that ''LinkedIn'' hopes to broadcast lines up with the kind of subject matter you might already see in LinkedIn’s news feed, the plan is to cover conferences, product announcements  and other events led by influencers and mentors.

LinkedIn reported that video is the fastest growing format on its platform alongside original written work, shared news and other content. Now it’s taking its next step in the medium in earnest.

Since ''LinkedIn'' was acquired for $26.2 billion by Microsoft in 2016, the company has made some significant strides. from shifting to be a less high-strung buttoned-up platform to cultivating a healthy community of influencers and evangelists, the platform has made improvements which have made it more attractive to the masses as a result. In fact the network now boasts over 560 million users in more than 200 countries.
