Prime Minister of the Libyan Government of National Unity Abdul Hamid al-Dabaiba said on Tuesday that women are represented in the cabinet by 15%, and that in the future, the percentage will increase to 30%.
The designated head of the Libyan Government of National Unity Abdul Hamid al-Dabaiba announced that some ministries, including the defense portfolio, had not been agreed upon due to lack of time.
In the session of the Libyan parliament devoted to granting confidence to his government, he added: "There has been no consensus on the Ministry of Defense, and there is no possibility for this consensus in light of this tight time."
