Libyan FM Visits Cairo for Talks

Libyan Foreign Minister (FM) Najla Al-Manqoush is set to arrive in Cairo later today Tuesday, at the invitation of her Egyptian counterpart Sameh Shoukry.

 

Manqoush has accepted an invitation from Shoukry to visit Egypt “at the earliest opportunity.”

 

Earlier, Egypt's Foreign Ministry said in a statement that Shoukry’s invitation to Manqoush comes within the framework of continuing consultation and coordination on strengthening the pillars of stability in Libya

The invitation also comes “in light of the extended historic ties between both states,” it added.
