The 1st Libyan Dialogue Forum kicked off in Tunis earlier today Monday, under the auspices of the United Nations, according to Russia Today (RT).
The United Nations Support Mission in Libya (UNSMIL) invited 75 figures- representing various spectrums of Libyan society- to participate in this event.
In his word before the forum, Tunisian President Kais Saied stressed the need to set specific dates and procedures to reach a ' peaceful' solution in Libya.
"The Libyan Forum is held in Tunisia because we are one and we share the same will to achieve peace and security," he continued.
Moreover, Saied pointed out that the Libyan dialogue's draft calls for the formation of a presidential council consisting of a president and two deputies in a manner that reflects the geographical balance.
