Engineers have reported that Libya's Sarir, Messla, and Nafoura oil fields have received instructions to resume production. The directive from the company's management did not specify the reasons for this decision, as conveyed by the engineers.

Previously, the National Oil Corporation (NOC) of Libya had announced a significant reduction in oil output, which had decreased to 320,000 barrels per day, down from 1.2 million barrels per day. This decline was due to the closure of ports and oil fields in the eastern and southern parts of the country.

According to NOC data, which oversees all the oil fields in Libya, the country has experienced a loss of 880,000 barrels per day since the mid-month closures.

The NOC also reported that the financial losses from the shutdowns had reached approximately $256.6 million as of January 23. This resumption order could be a critical step towards stabilizing Libya's oil production and mitigating financial losses.
